Your calculator inputs

All calculations run locally in your browser using JavaScript. The numbers you enter are never sent to our servers and are not stored by us. The site has no user accounts, no sign-up and no database of its own.

One tool loads outside data: when you open the currency converter, your browser downloads current exchange rates (European Central Bank reference rates) from the Frankfurter API at frankfurter.dev. The amounts you enter are not part of that request.

Hosting

US Calculator is a static website hosted by Vercel. As with any website, Vercel's servers receive the technical information your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to deliver the pages.

Analytics

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It works without cookies: according to Vercel's documentation, visitors are identified by a hash of the incoming request that is discarded after 24 hours, and each page view is recorded with the page address, the referring page, an approximate location (country, region and city), and the browser, operating system and device type. We see only aggregated statistics, and the data is not used to track you across other websites.

We also use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, and Google LLC, Mountain View, California). It sets the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>, which expire after up to two years, to recognize a returning browser. It records the pages you view, how you arrived, how long you stay, interactions such as scrolling and clicks on outbound links, your browser, operating system and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address; Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. The numbers you type into a calculator are not sent. We use the reports to see which calculators are used and to show our traffic statistics to advertising partners. Google keeps event-level data for at most 14 months. You can block Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising

We display ads through Google AdSense with Auto ads, which means Google chooses where on a page the ads appear. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. Google explains how it uses this information in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For more options, visit aboutads.info.

Consent

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent message from Google's consent management platform (Funding Choices) and can manage their choices for advertising cookies there. For these visitors, Google Analytics sets no cookies unless they consent; until then it receives only cookieless measurements without identifiers.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA regarding personal information. Because we do not collect or sell personal information directly, most requests relate to advertising and analytics cookies, which you can control via the links above.
